Welcome to Women by Design! 

You know, women are tired and stressed -- now, that’s not news, is it!?  Some are wishing they were married – some, wishing they weren’t!  Some wish their kids would grow up faster, some wish they could simply have kids.  Some are recovering from the guilt of abortion, and some are grappling with fears and depression.  Some are emotionally and physically abused.  Some (more than you think) are single mothers working two jobs, trying to raise a family alone.  Some are hiding painful addictions; some are struggling to find their identity -- and some even feel lonely, though married.  They are women recovering from broken relationships, trying to make sense of what happened.  We are tired and stressed!

 

The Women by Design Team is focusing our 2007-2008 planning around the theme "Seek Him First..." primarily, seeking His will in our lives first.  There is one thing of which we can be assured … God is ALWAYS speaking, but we don’t always make ourselves available to hear His voice.  Whatever He is speaking, you will never be sorry you stepped out in faith to follow Him.  When you do, He promises go before you, behind you, and to equip you to do that which He is calling you to … and, you will be renewed in the process! 

 

We are looking forward to getting to know each of you better, and hope you will find a new place of peace, rest and renewal in Jesus Christ as you join us in following Him!
