In the presence of God and this assembly, I most solemnly and joyfully vow to serve Christ as a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge. In doing so, I fully embrace FBCW’s Affirmation of Faith, Mission, and Vision. I commit myself to God and to the members of this body to do the following:
I will share the responsibility of my church by praying for its growth, by inviting the unchurched to attend, and by warmly welcoming those who visit.
I will actively participate in the ministry of my church by discovering my spiritual gifts, by being equipped to serve, and by developing a servant's heart.
I will promote the unity of my church by acting in love toward all people, by refusing to slander and gossip, and by following our spiritual leaders.
I will advance the testimony of my church by attending faithfully, by living an obedient Christian life, and by giving sacrificially.
I have read the Constitution and Bylaws including those policies dealing with church discipline, conflict resolution, members’ rights and responsibilities, and holy covenant, and agree to be bound by the Constitution and Bylaws of this Church.
